Previous simulations of the spatial coding model have used a vocabulary containing over 30,000 words. To save time in the present demo we'll load a subset of that vocabulary containing only four and five letter words. This model is called SCM_4_5_LW.eNm. Load it using the file option of the main menu as we did before for the IA model.
That should result in the contents of the Architecture tab looking like this:
You'll immediately see that the architecture of this model is rather more complex than the interactive activation model. Like the latter model, it includes layers for features, letters and words, but it also includes several additional layers that are relevant for coding word frequency, making lexical decisions and for implementing spatial coding, which we'll consider next.
